The places and moments that should feel easy, but somewhere along the way stopped feeling that way.
If life with your dog has quietly turned into something you constantly manage rather than something you enjoy, you are in the right place.
Maybe walks have become unpredictable. Maybe the lunging, the barking, the reactivity, the over arousal, the pulling, the anxiety, have started to shape what you plan and where you go. Maybe the advice you have been given so far has not added up to something that actually works.
You are not alone in this. And it is not your fault.
For owners who want a more compact starting point, a shorter foundation version of the programme is also available.
Most dog owners are given fragmented advice. Tips. Tools. Techniques. Layered on top of each other without anyone stopping to ask why the behaviour is happening in the first place.
When the root cause is not addressed, progress is short lived. The behaviour resurfaces. The work feels like it never ends. You end up with more management, more effort and more stress, and still no real sense of progress.
Real behaviour change starts with understanding the whole dog. Emotional state. Environment. Learning history. And often the missed piece, physical comfort.
This is an 8 week programme designed for dogs experiencing reactivity, over arousal, anxiety, lack of confidence or behaviour challenges that have started to limit daily life.
It is built around a whole dog approach. That means understanding what your dog is showing on the surface, but also what is driving it underneath: emotional state, learning history, environment and physical comfort.
The programme begins with a full behavioural and gait assessment, in person or remote depending on your location. From there, I build a personalised plan around your dog and your real life. Across the 8 weeks, we work the plan together, review progress through video, adjust as your dog moves forward, and keep WhatsApp open throughout so you always know what to do next.
In my work with reactive, anxious and over aroused dogs, the same pattern shows up again and again. Physical discomfort, pain, postural issues and gait abnormalities sit underneath far more behaviour cases than most owners are ever told.
I am currently the only professional in Ireland combining Separation Anxiety specialisation with Dynamic Dog Practitioner training. That means I can spot the subtle physical signs that often go unseen, and refer on to the right vet or physiotherapist when the picture calls for it.
It also means we are not trying to train through pain. We are working with the whole picture.
The work is rooted in ethical, science based training. Reinforcement, not pressure. Understanding, not suppression. Connection, not compliance.
This is a hands on, individually tailored programme. I work with a small number of clients at any one time to keep the level of support consistently high through the entire programme. Spaces fill quickly.
Book a free 15 minute discovery call. We will talk through what is happening with your dog, what support would look like and whether the programme is the right fit for both of you.

We tried a few things including medication but nothing worked. Lea’s expertise and constant communication helped us hugely. We now have a dog who is relaxed sleeps(it took five months) which is unbelievable. Lea was in constant contact with us suggesting different angles. Most of all we felt Lea really had our interests at heart. I would highly recommend her to anyone with doggie issues. She helped us understand his behaviors and explained what we should do. She really understood our dog and us. Answered all questions and taught us how to help him. With everyday training Rafti's much calmer now and so am I 😁 He still needs time to feel safe around other dogs and not to scare them away. But after 2 months we see improvement, he's less reactive and slowly starts to ignore other dogs. We're so happy to see small steps forward and Rafti is happy with 'doctor's orders' with his new harness and daily chewing and licking snacks 😁 AlexandraTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Lea has been amazing and did a great job with 2 super anxious beings, my little pup and myself! She was super supportive, always really paying attention to the well being of the little one and celebrating every tiny step! Treating separation anxiety is a real journey, there's no miracle, it's about consistency and patience. Thank you so much! In prep for his first flight to Canada, I was quite anxious about my puppy being able to stay in the bag and remain calm for the entirety of the trip. He went from not being able to enter the bag to a world traveller puppy that remained calm in his bag for 6hrs on a transatlantic flight. Lea was flexible and did extra sessions with him to get him fly ready with a huge success. She gave me tips and homework to get him ready and was very helpful. I don't know how I would have done it without her. Sandra SarbuTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Great experience with Lea! We needed help in teaching our dog to stay home alone, without getting anxious, damaging the home or driving our neighbours crazy with barking. Following Lea's advice and practicing the exercises she gave us, we are able to leave our dogo alone at last (and now he even snores throughout the whole time). Pauline DanaherTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We rescued our lurcher April 2022. When we got him he had very bad separation anxiety. We gave him a couple on months to adjust to us and the house. We didn’t go outside the door. I came across Lea and harmony paws online and we agreed to have a consultation to help Rafa. From the moment we met Lea I knew this was going to work. She explained how a dogs mind works and developed a plan to start getting Rafa the help he needed. Lea scheduled meetings online everyday for a month and took us step by step in the training process. We continued training for 3 months reducing the meeting times month on month until we were confident enough to do this in our own with guidance from Lea. She won’t just leave you because she cares. Rafa is now a very confident dog and well able to stay on his own for a couple of hours no problem. I can’t highly recommend Lea enough if you stick with her you will reap huge rewards. Joan OlearyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Took classes with Lea, she has such a way with dogs. Cody learned so much from her classes and we continue to teach him all we learned. Excellent trainer. 5 stars for Lea. Philip EdbrookeTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We got in contact with Lea after struggling with our rescue dog (Dobby's) separation anxiety for 9 months. We felt we had tried everything with very little success and when we first met Lea, we couldn't reliably leave Dobby for even 2 minutes. In the last session of our 4 week programme, we hit a personal best of 60 mins without Dobby being fussed in the slightest. Lea was so supportive throughout the 4 week period and really cared about Dobby's progress. Whilst we still have some time and work to go to really embed this, we are now really optimistic that we will get there! We are already reaping the benefits of a happier and more independent dog and would recommend Lea to anyone who is struggling with separation anxiety! Carly Siney moranTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I contacted Lea to help me train my 4 month old pup Marley. I was so impressed with Leas enthusiasm and how well Marley reacted to her. Marley has been responding so well to the training. I loved the fact that Lea sent me a full training guide link so I could refer back to it if I needed it. I would highly recommend. Marley is now 6 months and is doing amazing. Thank you Lea for all your help. Rosalyn EnglishTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I reached out to Lea as my dog was finding it difficult to settle when we moved home and he was also struggling with separation anxiety. We had a thorough consultation where Lea delved into the issues and she gave really comprehensive advice which was tailored to our specific situation and needs. She has checked in since our consultation about my dog‘s progress and offered follow-up advice - which was really appreciated. Most importantly, my dog has made huge progress since we have followed Lea’s training advice.
